UP HERE THE FAST FOODS PICTURED BELOW ARE A WAY OF LIFE, IF YOU NEED SOMETHING QUICK TO EAT OR TO GET BY LATE AT NIGHT, BUT WHEN I WAS IN S/C, THESE FOODS GROUPS WERE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND, I WAS THERE A COUPLE OF WEEKS NO DIRTY WATER DOGS AT ALL, A PIZZA ALSO WAS LOST , AND A GOOD OLE' SLOPPY CHEESEBURGER WAS ALSO ON THE ENDANGERED SPECIES LIST, WHATS UP WITH THAT.

WAKE UP THOSE TASTE BUDS, IT HAS TO BE BETTER THAN BOILED PEANUTS AND WHATEVER IS DONE TO CHICKEN, SOMETHING CALLED BBQ, I THINK.

No, BBQ is pork and you will get a southern dog which had mustard, chilly and slaw..onions and ketchup may be optional. For whats it is worth, you may keep the sauerkraut up there...

Here's a basic coleslaw with a tangy mayonnaise dressing, and it's a great choice for summer meals. Serve this coleslaw with barbecue or sandwiches.
Ingredients:

• 6 cups shredded cabbage
• 1 carrot, shredded
• 2/3 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons vinegar
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, or to taste
• 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
• 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste

Toss cabbage in a large bowl with the carrots. In a bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients. Pour the mixture over the cabbage and carrots and toss to coat thoroughly. Refrigerate until serving time.
Serves 6.








Growing up as a kid, we did not have Pizza...we had these...

Half my family if from the south. Backwoods VA. Every time they visit up here they must have:

White Castle
Real pizza
Real Italian deli mozzarella cheese
Real NY bagel
Carnival zeppolis
Diner Food (you southern folk don't know what you're missing)

When we visit down there:

Shoney's breakfast buffet
Sweet tea
Mr. Pibbs (We have Dr. Pepper up here)
They cook us a southern style BBQ with chicken, pork, cornbread, etc.
