Where to look for boat insurance??

Anybody have any sugestions on where to look for a reasonalby priced policy? I e-mailed both site sponsors yesterday and got no response. BoatUS could'nt sell me one if they gave it to me, only took them 8 months to deny a claim. Spent all winter waiting for a answer, when I could of been fixing it. I boat mainly the Potomac with an occasional trip to the bay.

Did you contact Randy @ Baymarine? He has wrote a lot of policies for our customers. He has always been very helpful to us.

not sure who would be the best agent, but my policy is with ACE and they were hands down the best price. Have not had a claim yet but from others I have talked to they are fair as anybody

I agree...mine is with Christi Marine but is underwritten by ACE. Have also heard good things with Tawes in Crisfield.

Charter Lakes Marine Insurance.

The guy we use is here in Nc @ 910-256-4148. Adam Meyer.
They also have an office in Annapolis. Don't know that number.
