Where I got the bug

I was going through some old super 8 film the other day and was able to isolate a couple of stills that are my earliest memories of fishing. This is where it all came together and I thank my dad and grandad everyday for being avid fishermen and making me one too.

Thats cool SF,I hope my son can go through old photos/videos when he"s older and thank me for taking him fishing.Theres nothing like taking your kids fishing,whether you catch anything or not.It's all about the times you spend together.

I'll say amen to that. That picture was 30 years ago and even though it's grainy I'm going to blow it up and frame it!

The pier is the old Cherry Grove Pier in SC. Side note, my dad was there in the 60's when the fellow beached the still world record tiger shark. He was one of the teenagers who helped pull the fish on the beach.
