Whats the name of this part, where can I get it?

Pretty sure someone stole this piece off my outboard..Ive only used it about 5 times from brand new.. Have a hard time believing it rattled off.... It has a fin on it and mounts on the motor right above the prop..... What is it called, and where can I get it?? thanks!!!

Your Yama dealer will have it. It is the lower unit Zink, some of then have a steering fin on it to work against the rotation of the prop. There should be 2 Zinks above your cavation plate, check them also and replace them if needed. Use "Lock Tight" on your nut to keep it from comming off again.

Make sure you use BLUE locktite and NOT red!

Otherwise, You will need a torch to get it off next time, I Zink!

I use anti-seize, not locktite, haven't lost one yet...the guy might be right, someone might have swiped it....at least the ******* could have left the nut.....
