My laptop shit the bed today so I set off to Best Buy to do my biennial computer replacement. The Core 2 processers are the heat, but all the computers now have Vista. No big deal, I can learn it in a little while. Well, learning it is fine, as long as you buy all 2007 versions of every #&@)@^ piece of software you used to use.

Gee, Vista doesn't run older versions of AutoCAD. No prob, $5k fixes that. FEA....another $8K. No, office doesn't work but we have Office 2007 you can buy. Quickbooks.....who needs that to work?
