wHAT IS THERE TO DO IN nASSAU BAHAMAS

We have 1 day in Nassau Bahamas,What is there to see and do? Maybe fishing ,sightseeing beaches to see??? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!

It has been a long time since I was there so I am sure it has changed. I was doing the honeymoon thing

There is a outdoor market. You must haggle,(the other guy said three bucks less etc). Free tour at Atlantis. Ask jitney(bus) driver to bring you to Fish Fry on Cable Beach, this is a bunch of little restaurants where the locals go to eat. I remember watching them make my conch salad fresh starting with the conch. Also they have out island rum cruise, saw pic's of myself passed out in a hammock don't remember much that day. Also just ride the jitny around the island. Good luck

things to do:
Atlantis water park .. go down the big slide and look at the shark pool there are some great local markets.. the Poop Deck is a great place for diner on the Island side and overlooks the harbor.. take a taxi to cable beach.. go gambling at night at atlantis.. have fun! you can also go swim with the dolphins or go snorkeling..
