Boat: Contender 25
Home Port: Providenciales TCI BWI
Best Catch: This girl who shoots the monkeys off my back.
Occupation: Perfecting the art of the 7 day weekend.
I put headers, a manifold, big ass Holley double pumper, dual pt. distributor, a cam, etc. in my Mustang.
One time I had come into Houston after spending about three weeks offshore, and just had a weekend before I had to go back to the boat on Monday. i was hauling ass on a two-lane blacktop near LaGrange trying to get to Austin...when a Texas Highway Patrol officer pulled me over.

I explained the situation, and managed to get the conversation turned the right way and he just warned me to slow down, but he was really interested in the car. He asked me how fast it would go, what the top end was. I told him I didn't know, because the speedo stopped at 120. I tried to get him to set up his radar down the road and we could find out. He was tempted, but then said he couldn't do that. He would be aiding and abetting a crime, or something like that. Oh well. he liked the idea, though.
