I have been shootin' the Extrema II for about a year now and it's an awesome gun. Got mine in MAX4 camo. I just found out that I need to send the Gun to Berretta to have the plug removed though .

I use a benelli super black eagle 1 and would not trade it for anything on the market now! i tried the new super black eagle and don't ;ike the new forend and i tried the extrema and the grip felt very akward,if you are looking for a new gun look for a used beneeli super black eagle 1 they are the good ones

I like my berretta Al390. Good gun and very easy to strip down and clean, about 30 seconds to strip it bare.

John I just started using an ExtremaII this year, I like Waterman was a die hard Benelli SBE I fan owning one of the first out and still depend on it for many uses...however the ExtremaII has become the waterfowl gun I reach for. I owned an Extrema I for a couple months and as soon as I handled the Extrema II it was a must have/switch the Etrema II has the lighter weight thinner features and many don't like the black spacer but what other gun can you make useable for your wife and or kids without a major renovation? The spacer pops out and you can use the half sized spacer or go with the butt pad against the stock shortening the length of pull by an inch + without a saw and miter box, then put the big spacer back in and it is ready for me
I have gone from a "There is no other gun than the SBEI" to "Check out the Extrema II as well as the original SBE and see what will work best for you" before you buy a new shotgun.

well i must be old school as i find no nee dfor the big cannons of today for my hunting. i get the birds and other game close enough that my LH870 still kills them. i have been shooting the same gun since i was 15. my age is now the opposite of wheni got the gun.

I like my remington 870 pump, i think it works anywhere and anytime
