What i do for fun :)

I was the first one off the truck to be greeted with that fire in the last picture. It came out as smoke showing but nothing else. As you can see it was pretty much fully involved when we got there. The other pictures were out a house out in the middle of now where that we had to get 15 tankers from all over to supply us with water.I'm the one on the top of the ladder in the one picture. We had you get a hole in the roof to vent. There are alot more i can get for you guys if any one is interested. I have alot of car extracation as well.

These are all pictures that i was on with my fire company, we have thousands of refinery fires and all kinds of neat shit. Hope someone like them and i'm not just putting them up for no reason. Figured it would be neat for some of you guys to look at. This is all 100% vol. Might i add so i run into these buildings for free

John, Im not going into a burning building unless my fishing tackle is in danger. When the smoke is thick and most guys are crawling John is still standing. I gues being short has its advantages.

THE LAST TIME I RAN IN A SMOKING BURNING BUILDING ...IT WAS OUT OF OF THE BUILDING......THEN I REALIZED IT WAS MY NEESES SAUSAGE ON THE STOVE.....VERY WELL DONE AND TRULY SMOKED.

Rode the engine for seven years in a volunteer company before I moved away from that FD
It was a great experience
We were famous for saving the foundation and making the basement into a swimming pool.
Once had a homeowner come to a monthly meeting to thank us for trying to save his house. He said he could not believe we were running into a house when any sane person would be running away

I'm David from Eastern North Carolina and the Fire Chief of our volunteer Fire Dept. I know where ya coming from- I'm usually the first on the scene and we do crash for the EMS. Not blessed with a ladder truck- but everything else is a go! Have experienced some bad times as you have also. Enjoyed the picts- keep them coming or should I say "put them out"!!!!

thats awesome dude....next year i will be old enough to be a volunteer fire fighter and i have some friends who volunteer and they want me to become one next year im deff thinking about doing it
