He got a bunch of republicans recently elected, that's what.
and the MURDER of 5,000 American soldiers.
Or, did I just miss that one, Zummie.
If Obama had done that one simple thing, abundantly clearly needed, the Democrats would not have lost this election...period. The Democratic base would have been electrified to have finally elected someone who would bring justice and accountability to the Executive Branch of government...what the base wanted most after Bush / Cheney.

Yes, obviously you've missed the entire boat.
If OBAMA had just focused on getting this country on its feet rather then his personal liberal spending and taxing agenda (redistribution of wealth) he would have gotten re-elected jerk.
On a small local scale.... he came to C'ville. First Obama flew in on an over sized jet giving an out of work trucker a job to use his 18 wheeler that was needed to haul the 2 sets of red carpet covered stairs needed for media coverage of his arrival. Then he jacked up our over work network of raods shutting down major arteries. Local upscale restaurants were totally booked for the big evening, only to have a few of Obama's Secret Service Men show up as they were able to access the roads. Most important was his support reflected in our local congressman not having a job after the final count Tuesday.
Obama did alot on the his very short visit!
I have to say LF, you have a point. I agree with you, we go back and forth.....iraq....then iran........back to iraq....only to send american soldiers to die for no good f'in reason. Its politics. Presidents trying to make everyone feel good while they go to work never realizing the sacrafice an american soldier is making. You cant possibly think, "thanks for your service" is consolation! Its not! I remember where I was when we went into iraq the first time, the second time too, I was angry as you are with this country when 9-11 happened. I was sad for the innocent,I was mad at the lies. I agree, its all bullshi t. However, I aint looking to make an American president pay for this crap, not even nobama himself.
I like the line in a movie where they say, "you said take the gloves off" I would teach these sand niggers a lesson they would never forget. There, I said it. I dont care. I aint spending a nickel to run for office. You F with the democracy of this country, screwed up as it can be........You will pay a hugh price. I dont watch the news anymore so I have no idea what your talking about at the news conference.
I can run that campaign on a 100 dollars........dont elect me, I dont care.
I had to read it twice to get the jist of your post.
Case 1. I take it you mean that you concur that American presidents, perhaps often, squander American servicemen's lives on fools' errands. And, you, at least, voice some discomfort with that situation. That's the part we agree upon.
Case 2. Then you say that after 9/11 you wanted to kick butt. Well, here's my chance to agree with you. I did too. But what I didn't want to do was confuse who the culprit was because that would have resulted in case 1 above. I'd have been much more circumspect about who I whacked than Bush was. And, I'd have fired Rumsfeld when he first proposed attacking Al Queda in Afghanistan with but a handful of U.S. ground troops which required us to depend on the notoriously undependable "Northern Alliance" troops to get the dead done.
Relying on incompetent, disloyal and uncommitted troops to get Al Queda doesn't really seem like a sound way to "kick butt" now does it. But either Bush was too stupid to realize the danger in that tactic or he was enamoured with Rumsfeld's the idea that only a few caretaker troops on the ground and the air force could defeat a ground enemy or he was simply incompetent at mounting a massive ground invasion like his father so competently did in Iraq War 1.
Had this single mistake not been made the whole War on Terror would have been over at Tora Bora in 2002. Bush would be a hero. Republicans would have a political dynasty in Congress and I'd still be voting with them.
And to think that Rumsfeld is honored as the man who took Afghanistan on the cheap when his personal foolishness cost us the prize we so sought, justice for 9/11.
The rest of your post is what confused me. So, I'll just leave it at this.
Oh, where's your customary humor today? I particularly liked the bit about "don't roll anyone over unless he's dead and you're the coroner". Laughed by, well, butt off at that one.

Well let's see:
"this will be the most transparent presidency ever"---"hey Pelosi meet me in the back room I got a deal for you"
"Let's give healthcare to all"----"hey Dems let's ram it down their throats". After all when the government takes charge things run better, just look at Social Security...Oh wait that program is broke, but look at Medicare...Oh wait there broke too, well look at medicaid...Oh crap another bust, wait look at the balanced American government budget....Oh crap we are in debt 14 Trillion dollars. Well, look at my campaign fund and my retirement at least those are in the black, says Obama.
Obama is a joke, but I have to say he has done one big thing for Americans, and that is he has taken away the excuses of the minorities that the "MAN" is holding them down. Not one minority can again legitimately state they don't have opportunities to better themselves. This is the only thing he has done.
Let me remind you LF that although we have lost military lives in the Middle East, it is a drop in the bucket compared to lives lost in WWI or WWII. On one hill in France in WWII we lost over 100,000 men in a month trying to take the hill and over 2 million men in WWI alone, so try and put it in perspective. I for one think we are fortunate that more lives aren't lost.
As for Bush being a "War Criminal"? You have got to be smoking chemically treated toilet paper yourself. If we had not retaliated after 9-11 the entire Muslim world would have mounted an all out assault on America because it would have made us look weak and gutless. If you were a military man with any sense you would see that, and would know that "show of power" prevents alot of conflict as the enemy thinks he may end up in a body bag. Pretty good deterent.
If you weren't mad and angry at 9-11 then I question how much of an American you are! Bush did what needed to be done to protect America. Obama wouldn't have the turbin to do what Bush did and I am glad Al Gore wasn't president at the time b/c that would have put the nails in our coffin for sure.
