What goes into making a great fishing T- Shirt
First I want to thank all of the people in the industry that are crazy enough to work with me and my artrwork. That said I wonder if you all who aren't familiar with the process and all it takes. Capt. Cotton you can chime in anytime, or anyone else who's in the business.
All I do is paint the fish and they take it from there by adding graphics, wait for my picky ass to to approve it, that process which at times can take a while (EVER WORKED WITH PHOTOSHOP?) I have and havn't a clue.
Once thats approved they have to make screens with each color sometimes with as much as 14 different colors. The more colors that are used usually the better the image will look on the shirt.
Then there is setting up the machine, which looks like to me like a giant pissed off octopuss. Printing each color, checking it as it goes along, dry the shirt in what looks like a giant oven.
Then there's the sleeve, front pocket etc.... if the colors are off they have to go back in and adjust the colors.
If any of you all are thinking of getting shirts made try to have a nice image for the graphics guy to look at.
If all turns out well, they box em up ship them to you and then you have to try and sell them.
