Very observant Nick! You get a prize... Its a sword from last week... I salt the base, then freeze it and re salt before letting it dry out in the garage for a couple weeks. Salt keeps em from stinking... Some guys want a white picket fence they work for their whole life.... I want,... well you getthe picture......
As long as a fish is getting cut up and eaten I hate to see bills go to waste so into the collection it will go...

Hey Deep get thoses sword bills painted put a sweet picture of your boat pulling
a spread or a night vision with a full mood shining on you while your swordfishing
I'am sure you can find an artist to do the job they come out so nice then display them on the wall

On the bills... I'll save up a pile and get creative... Would love to make a fence around my house buteither the racoons would eat them or the home owners association nazis would have something to say...

I do a couple dozen a day on and off for a couple months and I am ahead of the game. I also do my shark rigs way early... My Summer rigs get made when I get back from chub... I reskirt and re rig salvagable heads from there in northern colors... The line is fresh on the outfits and gets retired after chub to be loaded fresh for the summer season.
Nothing real hard about doing the rigs. Just time consumption... I like to get the basic shopping and storing done early (now) . The perishables and bait are last to get got...
