    Smile What Friends are For

The brutal winter continues. Wind, Cold, Rain... Only small windows to fish open but with my boss man so busy with work even they close quick and for the most part I'm keeping company with the pilings.
Got up in the dark to howling wind and made a wee hours pilgrimage to make sure my lines were good on the boat. First of a few today as this front is packin some stiff breeze. Despite staying busy, the sitting and waiting and being cold all the time takes its toll.
Then the door bell rings. Gina Lisa Danny , my neighbor standing there with a big smile. That alone brightens my day. Then hands me a package... Three sword steaks from one they got during yesterdays short break in the weather, color indicating they came off a borderline pumpkin... That good readers is just plain thoughtful. He shared with me so I figured I share with you.
    Thanks Danny!

I sometimes do sword kabobs served on a bed of rice with bernaise sauce all over it... Other times if I get this quality of a fish and its real fresh, simple works. Slap it on the grill and baste with butter...

Those white concentric lines you see in the flesh are indicative of a waterborne illness called Kawabata - boogie-boogie... Its lethal to eat...So, As quickly as you can dry-ice 'em and send them to me..i am the local rep for the USDA fishiness dept. and need to catalog them.
    Hurry now...........
