    What else to do?

Okay folks, Cabin fever is setting in. I've cleaned and lubed all the reels, went through the tackle box and reorganized, sharpened hooks, tied rigs, cleaned the boat, checked all the nuts, bolts, and screws, checked the trailer connections and bearings, changed the plugs in the engine, hit all the grease fittings, reorganized the bait freezer(twice), and put together two bait barrels. Is there anything I'm missing? Weather has held me at bay? I need to at least do something fishing related or I'll go crazy.

    Byrd,

I would go out in the driveway and change the trailer lights a minimum of six times... No matter how often you change those buggers they seem to burn out at an alarming rate... Yet another government consiracy....

Good luck with that cabin fever.

Byrd, i'm not sure where your from but if I did all that work I'd have to splash the boat and wet a line even if I didn't catch anything.

1 way I keep my trailer lights working longer is to unplug them before you back the trailer in the water.

You can rig up an old piece of garden hose and zip tie it in around your trailer brakes. Just hook up your hose and wash them out each time after you get back. Will save some $ on replacing brakes. Well you said what else can you do?

Been meaning to that for years:
Note to self: this weekend's project.
Supplies needed: big zip ties, beer, 2 female hose conectors, beer, 2 t-fttings, beer, hose clamps, better get some more beer just in case I run into problems.
Hot Damn, I'm feeling back to normal

I fish the lower chesapeake bay near Hampton Va. I heat shrinked it already. Good idea on the hose. May do that. The last project will be installation of the Raymarine DS 500 X fish finder. Just waiting for the Tax refund check.
