This morning I got to watch Kurt Gowdy's son,"Trev"as he likes to be called, ***** about a loaded barge headed down the Columbia River "Having a mile of river, but has to bear right down on us fighting this fish."

Also in the show he shot a gar in Texas(I know, not the most popular fish, but still) with a friggin arrow and then "released it to spawn"

What kind of a douche-bag is this guy?

I agree, I turned that show off after 5 mins, he sure as hell ain't like his 'ol Man

there are Sooooo many fishing shows on TV now-a-days, it aint funny between Versus, Outdoor channel, ESPN2 and the Sportsman channel, I'll bet there are atleast 50 fishing shows on per week

I guess anyone wth a boat and a camcorder can get on TV today

He was in Panama last year fishing at the same time as some of my friends. For some of his fishing shots they were dragging a bucket at the end of the line from the rod he was holding. He doesn't seem anything like his father

I watched the same show.......first time i ever saw catch and release bow fishing.....the bluefins were interesting, must be nice to catch 800 lb tuna within sight of the beach, the guy does seem like a complete tool though.

I watch all the shows too, and scrutinize every second of each show just in case someone may actually teach me a new trick. But I gotta say, this fu#king guy is exactly what the thread says, a complete douchebag! If you saw the show last weekend and watched this idiot attempting to reel in the GBFT, did you happen to notice the complete rats nest he was about to produce in that 130. It just makes me want to puke. I have said this before on this site about Trev. HE IS A TOOL!!!!!! I believe he may actually be in first place by a nose hair to Dean Travis. These two should be locked up on a sailboat somewhere off of San Fransisco so they could shave each other legs for less wind drag!!!!

Don't think for a minute that "Trev" is that far off of his father. He had to learn that somewhere. The idea of the premise of his show has some merit but the execution, and ethics are less than what we should expect imho
