What do you need ?

One feature on another forum I really like is an "active thread" link on the main page. You can just click it to see any of the threads you have responded to (or created) w/in the past couple weeks. I nice vs relying on subscribing to every thread via email.

Just like most have said the sst charts would be a nice touch but also as you stated you have to make sure it can be financially available without getting beat up over it... def a good idea.

the charts page would be awesome also.. maybe an interactive chart page could be done where you could go on and give your location where you were fishing that day or where you caught fish that day..

I think we could also maybe use an open boat forum.. alot of guys have open boats and are looking for a crew but ihave a feeling the one we have on here is a little to hidden for anyone to really utilize it..

I think i would also like maybe a surf fishing section.. now i know i know everyone loves offshore here but some of us still surf fish. lol i would like to blab about what is going on in the surf around the world.. think it would be cool....

and other than that i dont know if anything else could me done..

oh maybe. if the crew has time.. a quarterly newsletter sent out or posted for everyone to read on upcoming events, upcoming tourneys, upcoming changes, and just a hello from you once in a while.. i know your busy as hell but maybe quarterly that would be awesome....

From an advertisers perspective:

I would like to see some thruput/clickrates and SEO results etc... on my yellow pages listing (I can see them thru my own program...but that may not be the case with other advertisers on here).

It may be a wise idea to let the advertisers on here, both yellow pages and/or banner, to know exactly what they are getting for their advertising $.

Doing so may also help facilitate more in depth adverstising or product/service centric marketing opportunities for the advertisers and an additional 'performance based' revenue stream for SFC.

This is more of a feature. But see if you can work some kind of deal with Roff's fishing charts for sfc.com members to get a discount. Kinda like the club discounts they give. Would be a really cool feature for members here if that deal could be worked out.

Is there some way for me to keep from selecting posts that I think are a thread and turn out to be some lame joke? I know it's bitching (though probably not as much and F17's last post) but I like to make the most of my time when I can get here.
