From what I have been told the 35 Carolina Classic with the 540 QSC will top out at 36-37 knots at 51 gph and 30-32 knots cruising at 32 gph.

Doesn't really matter how fast any of the 35's go...how often can you use it? 75% of the time most of them are trying to catch a ride behind a bigger boat to "lay it down for them." Having said that, I do believe the CC is a better sea boat than the Cabo and was quite impressed with the ride of the CC considering it is only 35'....but it is still only 35'.

Vikings have made a great impression on me the last 7 or so years. I have run Topaz, 54 Jarret bay, 40 Whitacar, and now I run Hull #1 54 foot Willis.

What topaz have you ran?

Check out the Scopnich 35 they also have a walk around. Sweet little boats. They pay close attention to detail. they are in Stuart, Fl. Also check out L&H another great boat. Get a used one. it will cost the same as a production boat and you will enjoy a lot more.
