What to do w/ catch on long VA trip?

I’m aways to the nearest Oceanfront Marina.
This makes offshore day or weekend trips difficult.
The up at three, back by four, clean boat and fish till 7,
then dinner, hit the rack to do it again at 3…..
That don't even count the car ride.
My boat’s a little big to trailer every trip too…

Now if I go for a week-- 10 days...hotel...pool....beach…..try off shore
every other day ….my boat driver / wife is MUCHO
happier. Joy also rolls downhill ….So I happier.

    Question:
I going to fish out of Lynnehaven or Rudee
When I catch fish…WHAT DO I DO WITH IT
    FOR A WEEK??
Is there a place in Va Beach that freezes fish??

    Thanks

    Just some suggestions.

You could get a hotel room with a full size refrigerator and freeze the fish there.

Or, hopefully, you will have more fish than a normal freezer could fit. In which case, you could keep the fish iced and take it home midweek to freeze it.

Or, does your marina have a freezer? Our marina has a walk-in that they keep locked, but they let you put extra bait, or whatever inside.

I would try to store it at the marina freezer in a cooler if they will let you..maybe even offer to pay them a few bucks. Dry ice will work if need be but you'll have to replace with more ice almost daily which would be much more expensive and more of a hassle.

Why not rent a condo or house for the time and usually they have a bait freezer or in the fridge. they can easily be found on the internet and most of the time you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality. Have not had a bad place yet. Most of them are rented by the same people for vacation year after year.
