I haven't seen any SFC sponsors that sell Grundens (wish I did). Alot of us use Mike Keller's in NC (USA). Mike will ship ( I guess to UK as well?)

Not sure about any sponsors here carrying them. I'm sure they will chime in here if they do.

I get mine from a commercial fishing supplier in Manteo, NC www.mikekellerltd.com

odd ball

I've alway's worn a Gill Key west foul weather jacket. It has their version of gore-tex so it is breathable and it has held up pretty well, I'm on my second one in 7 years so i think i got my money out of it. I like the breathable top because I don't get overheated as quickly as do in grundens so I don't have to keep taking it off and putting it back on as you troll into the breeze or with it.

I'm getting my Grundens ready now in anticapation of the cold weather. I have the heavy duty bibs and jacket with the neoprene cuffs. Nothing makes you say F*&K like when a cold slug of water runs inside you coat sleeve and hits your armpit as you hold your fish up for a picture. Plus I wear all that moisture wicking stuff underneath the Grundens. I stay pretty toasty on the water in the winter.

It's fowl weather gear usually orange bibs and jacket you see mates and fishermen wearing. Also comes in some other colors as well.

Is it a name brand or type of gear or just a general term used for foul weather gear worn by mates?
