Westburo baptist church gets owned

I hate reposts but this was more than worthy of being reposted so the world can get some ideas of how to "smartly" hamper this batch of disruptive idiots.!!

A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.
Rankin County handled this thing perfectly. There were many things that were put into place that most will never know about and at great expense to the county.
Most of the morons never made it out of their hotel parking lot. It seems that certain Rankin county pickup trucks were parked directly behind any car that had Kansas plates in the hotel parking lot and the drivers mysteriously disappeared until after the funeral was over. Police were called but their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas plated cars could get out.
A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business.

...I even question the logic on which it is based, protest servicemen's deaths because there are homosexuals in the world, OH MY!

But what you describe is infinitely worse. What you describe is direct intervention by a county government to prevent the exercise of free speech. This is precisely the sort of thing that the 1st Amendment was intended to prevent. The county officials who orchestrated this are certainly guilty of crimes and should be prosecuted by the local DA and, if not by him, by the Federal Department of Justice.

How easily you disregard others' Constitutional rights. I wonder how you'd feel if a county in a more progressive state, say Oregon, decided to take similar actions against a Republican political gathering? I'll bet you would rediscover the Consitutional protections you so easily disregard when you don't agree with the free speech that's being offered.

should come into play. Our 1st Ammendment isn't a blanket for conversation. If you think it is, just try making threat's in "coversation" against the President. If the wrong person hear's it, you'll soon see just how far the law won't cover you. In my foolish opinion, ANYONE that desicrate's a funeral of one of our fallen Servicemen, deserve's whatever they recieve for being that stupid! Frank

The only reason LBC has these "protests" is to gain publicity, there all related,and there leader is a nut bag, personally,I'd have no problem using a fire hose on one of there "gatherings" BUT...LF is right,if we are to pick and chose who gets free speech,throw the whole Freedom of Speech, thing right out the window, while WBC is a twisted mess, they have as much right to do there thing as i do proclaiming that our President is a complete idiot, what these city's need to do is amend there policy's regarding gathering's at a Military funeral. put them 300 yards away,and don't allow placards,take away the media interest...the'll go away.
