Hey folks - Need your help here. Can I please get a list of your favorites in West Palm Beach
1. Resturant
2. Hotel
3. Tackle Shop
4. Golf Course
5. Marina
6. Charter Boat
7. Head Boat
thanks
As far as restaurants- Spotos is high on my list. Lott Bros has been around a long time for tackle, The Blue Heron for a head boat. I moved a little north to Port St. Lucie now, so I have lost touch down there.. I do like the Golf at Abacoa in Jupiter.

I'll be happy to walk you through some of the local establishments...
Restaurants- We have a zillion of them. Ruth's Chris is the top shelf one of the bunch. Near PGA Marina we have four top ones also.
River House- Long wait but prime cuts of beef and finest seafood.
Panama Hatties- All you can eat stone or king crabs. Regae band. casual
Waterway Cafe- Trendy younger crowd, OK food, top 40 music
Seasons 52- Stuffy but gourmet
Up at jupiter inlet there is Castaways/ Square Grouper... Up beat party spot.
Sailfish Marina- Kind of touristy but next to inlet, best charter fleet. ok food+drink
Hotels:
Palm Beach Shores Resort- Very nicehotel, lots of ammenities. Not cheap.
Several other on beach- Again not Cheap but all pretty nice...
Tackle Shops
At the base of the Blue Heron Bridge you have a load
Grand Slam- First Rate, most all you could want
Fishermans Center- Also top line stuff. More big game stuff
Seven Seas- Fill in inshore stuff
Black Bart- Black Bart Lures
Willies (3/4Miles north). First class bait shop...
Golf Course- Dozens in area. I believe North Palm CC is open to public. PGA national may cater to groups ???
Marina-
Sailfish- is close to the inlet clean and safe. Pricey and tough to get a slip.
North Palm- Farther from inlet, good facility, less crowded
Riviera Municpal- Dirty, not fully safe, on site drinking, close to inlet, cheap
PGA/ Soverel- May be full but close to restaurants above
Jupiter- Several near their inlet. Inlet sucks and I do not recommend
Charter boat- The Sailfish Marina is host to a spectacular fleet of top shelf boats. Take your pick.
Deep C- Captain is cranky and boat is a tub. Probably booked anyway..![]()
Headboat- Blue Heron Fleet Operates one at Palm Bewach Inlet and another at Jupiter...
Can't go there without a visit to Rachel's Best steaks in town!![]()

Bill, you will definitely like the meat at Rachel's.
Go north on Route 1 and stop by the Brass Ring, best wings I have had anywhere period. And also awesome Burgers. It is walking distance from North Palm Beach Marina.
The River House is my favorite restaurant of all time. Deep wasn't kidding about the wait, though. I remember racking up a 350 dollar bar tab waiting to be seated one valentines day years ago.

I just got back from there last week.
Marina - Sailfish Resort was top notch.
Hotel - we stayed at the Hilton on Singer Island. Nice place but kind of pricey. Restaraunt was OK. The best part was it's only about 5 min from the marina.
We had dinner at Sailfish one night - Very good grub and the atmosphere/senery was excellent.
I fished one of the charters out of Sailfish Marina, the "NO FRILLS" kind of a well used old 30' Carolina boat. Definately no frills but the captain was great. I would recommend him to anyone.
Have a good trip!
My parents just got back Saturday from the Marriot on Singer Island- they said it was awesome. quite pricey, but awesome.
Sir Squid, you headed to west palm in the near future or something?

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
