    I know when I go herring and shad fishing in the spring, the trees get decorated like its Christmas!!! Nice to get out on the water with your dad, even if its only for an afternoon.

    So I guess the run is on. How close to the dam were you fishing? Did you park by the dam and walk down or further down the river. From the pics it looks like you were just above Lapidum. How clean was the water? Did you see any stripers? Thanks for the report and pics, nice job!

    Ah the mouth of Deer Creek, that place never gets old. Did you see anyone catch any hickory or white shad, or was it all just those mud shad? Also, any herring up there yet?
