[Wild Life Management]

This time of year can be difficult for those of us stuck in cold weather regions. The fishing season is a few months away, the hunting season is over, so what about the months ahead? The drinking season?

Here are some photos from last weekend, it looks like this weekend will be similar.

Sometime near midnight on Saturday, while doing some "outdoor" cooking, I recalled that I had stocked up on lead and clay this time last year. Since we had no plans on Sunday it was a no-brainer.





Twelve hours later we were in the woods throwing some lead.



Double clays, four shots, didn't hit skeet. That only happened once.



And only after the last shot was fired did we crack a few colds ones around a fire to finalize the leadfest.



Of course we were hungry afterwards, how about some dolphin, tenderloins, and sausage.



After reflecting on the fun we had, and realizing that we still had a lot of clays left, Brian and I decided to take a Sikorski style work day on Monday. Back to the woods for a more competitive shootout, which I let the mate win by one shot, he is pretty sensitive and I didn't want to upset him.
