Website hosting service?

What hosting service do y'all use/prefer? I've tried some basic ones that came along with the domain name, but they all suck. horribly. Also, who would you recommend for graphics? I know there's at least one guy on this forum that does graphics. I have a certain design in mind, but no adequate programs to draw one up

just thought I'd throw up a quick update and a HUGE thanks to Jer for helping me get my website up and rolling. It was definitely slow going, but Jer and John stuck with it and we finally got it up. I designed it using a Mac-based program, iWeb. feel free to look around and tell me what you think, I'll be updating it periodically. Again, MAJOR thanks to Jer for being so helpful, and John for providing the hosting and an awesome website.
