Thumbs up We went to a shooting club yesterday

My wife, a couple friends and I went to a shooting club yesterday.

I didn't touch any of the guns, but they shot with 3 different ones:
a .38 revolver, .22 pistol (I'm not sure about this one) and a .45 pistol

They did about 20 shots each with the 3 guns combined.

They started with the .38 revolver and you can see in the target below my wife's first shot (in the picture she's using what I think to be the .22 pistol)

Today I showed her a jewelry ad in a magazine and said "look how cool it looks". She asked about the price, I said "$110" and she asked "how many bullets can I buy with that?"

Your Pic reminds me when I was in the service and trying to teach privates how to shot. I would jump in the foxhole shot one round at the target and then fire the other 2 rounds just over. We would go look and see one hole and they would think I put all 3 rounds in the same spot. Hard as hell some times to keep from laughing especially when they are talking to there buddies.

LOL - when we went to the range in basic to qualify with the M-16, I fared pretty well. I shot 48 out of 40 as the yahoo next to me was shooting at my target and failed to qualify himself. I somehow managed to leave basic with an expert ribbon

Today she got the 2nd place shooting with a revolver.
20 participants total in her category (holding the gun with both hands), most were men.

    360 points out of 400

Now she moved up to the veterans category (hold the gun with one hand)

She is training with air pistols 2-3 times a week.

I just hope she won't need to buy an air pistol soon, they're not cheap

(The pistol in the picture above is a .380 I think, not a .22)

I don't like guns but I'm proud of her

My girlfriend goes shooting with me all the time. She loves it. The bigger caliber, the better. There's nothing cooler. She shoots my .50AE Desert Eagle and my Barrett 82A1 .50BMG rifle. But my Glock 21 .45 is her favorite. If your wife loves fishing too, then you're set.

That is quite impressive jer. Tell the wife congrats on her shooting.

jbhockey a similar thing happen to me also. The guy next to me gave me some shots on my target then he took off the ear plugs, popped a drum...and tried to get a discharge intentionally..........he was out there for sure

Between the brig and the hospital he was a sure R/C candidate. He missed way to much time.

capt_john the desert eagle is a favorite for me. It was so tight in the slide, a friend asked a few guys to help him break it in. My first shot twisted my wrist to 11:00. It was easier knowing what to expect from there after
