    Vote Whoever Is In, Out....

Let's let it start here on Sportfisherman.com...Every single politician in Washington should be voted out of office at their next interval....the corruption, poor management, stealing, insider trading, etc., can only be ended by getting the present hooligans including the President out of office....we're going to do our part in Mass by getting rid of Kerry and Brown....I hope you'll all follow suit in your perspective states...now for the argument that the next crew will only turn out to be the same....if so, we'll vote right them out as well...and I'm sure there may be a few good amongst the majority of thieves, but a clean slate is the only way to start over.........

    Hi, Bill.

Good to hear from you. By the way, I want to send you some pics of my shepherd, puppy and current. You won't believe the differece a few months make. He wa 12 lbs. when we bought him and he's just under 112 now...at 9 months. When he steps on my foot it really hurts right throught he shoe or boot. He's a monster.

Can one send pics via PM on this site?

Anyway, regading you post...regrettably my good friend, it's almost impossible to do what you recommend. I read this great article this morning on gerry-mandering and you won't believe how few incubent's position are actually up for grabs...less than 30 out of the whole House. That is they're out of reach unless both parties decide to vote anit-incumbent. The political ossification of the electorate almost guarantees that won't happen.

Recently, Seapower and Marine posted that term limits were the answer. Same response. They've already outsmarted us. Very few states have apolitical re-districting.

I believe you're right, but I think with all the discontent across the board, both parties are done with business as usual.....remember in MA, even the unions went against our state ossification, and put Brown in...now seeing as though he hasn't done a thing down there, and the corrupt actions of Kerry as well, they are both on the chopping block, I do believe....the cleansing has to be done state by state....if you have good honest hardworking guys representing your state, by all means keep them there, if not get rid of them.....

    BFB,

I'd say that's part of the problem. Most enough "good stuff" for the folk's back home to keep getting re-elected. When it comes to other matter's that require a consenious, we as a whole get screwed. Look at the reporting about the catch shares issue the Gloucester Times is reporting on. It would seem a slam dunk to me, but the Administration is getting it's way regardless of what you and I think. This is gonna be a money power play, for the select few before it's over. The grease that keeps the wheels rolling in DC is dollar bill green. Frank

There is also another major issue - That is the little lever or button that allows a voter to vote straight party ticket with a single push or pull.

Too many lazy voters - or worse Ignorant voters willing to vote for every Republican or Democrat just because...

I agree, it's something hard to do, but it's got to get started, guys being in office 10, 20, & 30 years doing the wrong thing just can't be tolerated....and it's a two edged sword, the old farts are teaching the new guys how to get away with murder. I guess in past years the stealing was going on, but at least they made sure the budget was balanced, now not one gives a shit....they know they can't be touched.....kind of like a kid screwing off in school, but being sure to bring home A's on his report card. I think once the massacre can get started, it will both catch on, and straighten things out at the same time....at this point every single one needs to go.....

I agree with you Billy. They all have to go. The problem I see is too many voters who stick to one party and don't reason out all the issues. The lever to vote straight party ought to go. At least make people think. Also based on your posting history, I really can't see you voting against a Republican president because he was an incumbent. I know it's easy for you to vote against Obama. I am also sure you never voted for Kerry

Actually I always vote out the incumbent unless I think they are doing a remarkable job. For the President, to have presented this Super Committee with a problem he wanted solved, and to have this band of jerk offs do nothing, is just simply unacceptable. Every single member of the Senate and Congress needs to be replaced.
