Vinyl or Wood Fence!!?

I would do the Vinyl fence. You are in a salt air environment which will rot the wood prematurely.

I had my wood fence replaced with vinyl after Hurricane Wilma. It was white but the sprinklers stain it wherever they hit. Once the plants grew it didn't look so bad. But I still wouldn't want a wood fence again- they just don't last down here.

i want the vinyl but i dont think it is worth the extra money.. 5k is for the regular white chit..

i want the nice stuff.. colored vinyl.. going to put me around 6k or so!!

Just sell your house and move to the country and plant you some leland cypress. They grow 3 ft per year and you will have a natural privacy fence.

I Like the natural hedge or Cypress look. The code man cant tell you how high your hedge can grow either.

Chain link and plant a hedge. That dog should have been reported and put down. That owner is risking major liability. Hope he has a bitchen boat cause it sounds like it will be yours.

Cedar is neater but vinyl is final!!!!
I use to sell fence and what I always recommended was if you plan on staying in your house for more than 5 years spend the extra and get vinyl. Wood does not last long before it a) looks like crap or b) needs constant maintenance.
