I am new to the board but thought I would ask for suggestions on cleaning my vinyl coming pads and my leaning post on my regulator I was told that star-brite is very good.

    thanks in advance

go to the DOLLAR STORE and buy Mr. Clean bleach sponge. or three and go to town cleaning. If you have grease use dawn soap to remove the grease then finish with the bleach sponge....works on the wellcraft coming pads and cooler pads real good...they don't last long so just a little water to get them moist.....rinse when satisfied with the look or do them again for bragging rights....good luck

never used a sealer on vinyl...so I can not help ya there....welcome to SFC home of the brave

Protectant/sealer without a doubt use the Aerospace 303

For cleaning the Armor All premoistened towlettes seem to work very well for me but I have heard somewhere recently that mineral spirits is the best thing to clean vinyl with. Again follow up with 303 Aerospace protectant. Too much of any type bleach on the vinyl will cause premature wear on the seams.
