Unhappy A Viking without a home

I'll be moving the boat to the MHC area, from Jersey, the first of spring. It is a 35' Viking SF, with a 13' beam, and 3 1/2' draft. If anyone could direct me to a good marina, with a near by ocean inlet. A marina you have had a really good relationship with. Or, just help out by telling me which ones to stay away from.

deep water, very nice, clean facilities, cool dockmaster, easy fueling on busy days, straight shot to the Beaufort Inlet, easy walking distance to restaurants and hardware store, plenty of parking.

I'll second that. I am docked there and I've very pleased with the Staff, quality of the docks, and Good protection. The bathrooms are kept clean, and a good floating dock for fuel.

    misokat,

break out a chart or a road map. New Bern is a growing town, they seem to be catering to the retirement crowd. The ride to an inlet is do'able, but is not short. On the good side you have a few to choose from. Nothing wrong with making a couple day trip and staying over. I generally go a day at a time, but do like getting a motel and making a minnie vacation out of it.
Capt. Fred, you're right about MoreHead Yacht Basin, I've been using that place for years with transient boat's. Remember it back when it was just piling's. They've certainly made a nice place out of it. I stop there for fuel with deliverie's, alway's a good stop or stay over. Frank,SeaPower
