Video question

I have seen some super clean videos here on SF. What format are you recording in and what format are you using when you save your video to download it to the internet? Thanks in advance Mark

Darn good question. I hope there are some replies here, for those of us that aren't video smart.

from cam to hard drive = raw data, non compressed.

mixed in windows movie maker

saved as wmv

stock computer, duel core, 1 gig ram, Xp sp2

wish I had a Mac

from the cam its a mod file, then make the movie in pinnacle, high quality ntsc upload.

Sound quality will have a significant impact. If you're having issues with the size of the video try dropping the sound quality. While I believe the sound often makes the video, many computers aren't going to give it justice regardless.
