There was apost by new member Mwells6485 the other day. Offering up some jigs to test. I got to thinking about the Bahamian groupers and what a sure fire winner it would be. Then it dawned on me that they may well eat anything that is put in front of them. We discussed an uncommon color with an uncommon target species. That was Tuesday night. Its thursday and I already have the jewel in hand.
Havn't put it to the test yet. That will get done next week along side a tried and true bait I've used for a while. It has passed tghe first test with flying colors. First the color is right. The hook is definately built for bear. The head is what appears to be powder coated for extra tough finish. A 3-d eye adorns the sides and the skirting (yes skirting) is expertly tied....
I 'll keep you guys abreast of how it works next week...
