    Verizon Fios

Is anyone using the new verizon fibre optic system, Fios? I wanted to try and get some feedback I am thinkking of making the switch. Verizon now offers TV, internet (not DSL) and the internet phone. I am trying to get everything into one bundle and try to save a few dollars and I am not sure if Comcast is the right choice or make the switch to Verizon. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I have the Fios Internet, faster than DSL, Moderate price. I Love it!!!! come with a wireless router, so your house is WIFI ready .Installation is about 5-6 hours, but worth it. As soon as the TV is availible I am going to Dump My Dish.

we were promised in 2000 the DSL. They buried the lines last spring. The Fios sound nice. I would also like to hear some good points and real through put numbers.

One of my concerns with Verizon is the local sports coverage. I heard Verizon was working on a deal with Comcast so we could see the Flyers and Sixers (when hey decide to show up and play). I think the Fios internet is a no brainer but I want to play these companies against each other and see what kind of deal I can get.

    Verizon will have Comcast Sportsnet.

It is a great service, so buy it up. I install the stuff and I need a bigger boat.
