Megadeth, Testament, and Exodus are playing at the Norva (in Norfolk) on Friday March 19th. i just got my tix, and i believe Capt. jake of the Matador will be going too.

Anyone else up for it???

20th anniversary of the Rust in Peace tour. The album will be played in its entirety, plus all of the other Megadeth standards.

with the American Carnage tour postponed until Slayer bassist/vocalist gets put back together Dave Mustaine and the crew put this together to hold us over. Should be a great show.

The Norva is a really cool venue as well.

My wife is going to the Metallica concert here in Sao Paulo tomorrow. Sepultura will open the concert.

I have seen metallica many times, but never Sepultura. I think musically speaking Sepultura of 2010 is more powerful than Metallica of 2010. Now if we could get Metallica from 1986 with Sepultura of 2010- WOW!!

By any chance did you or your wife go to Iron Maiden when they were down there? I saw all of the US shows within 200 miles of my home, but missed them in Costa rica when i was there. Still bummed about that.

I saw Megadeth @ the 9:30 Club in DC about 10yrs ago. They're f*cking awesome live!!

i have seen megadeth many times, including warming up for Dio back in 1989 or 90. Also on that bill was Savatage (for those who don't know who Savatage are/were- the key/surviving members make up the metal part of the Trans Siberian Orchestra).

Really looking forward to it. The last time I saw Exodus they were playing with Suicidal Tendencies and Pantera (and that was years ago too- damn i am old).

Nope. My wife is coming from Fortaleza for Metallica, this is something she has been looking forward to FOR YEARS (over 10 years). Fortaleza is 1600 miles away from Sao Paulo.

She's also a Slayer fan, but that's recent.
