Useless things to spend money on?

I saw a post on another site that got me thinking about some of the most useless items to spend good money on.

It is a "tool" made of starboard to wrap braid around when you get hung so you can break off without cutting your hands. Ok, but why not just get something that you have on the boat already like a knife handle or pliers or something?

Another thing I saw yesterday was a product used by bass fishermen to improve their pitching/flipping skills. All it was is a friggin margarine tub with a light in it that lights if you drop the jig into it. WTF? who needs a light to tell them the jig is in the tub? Worst yet, who would pay $99.00 dollars for that crap? I have plenty of tubs in my garage if someone wants to pay me for them.

What are some of the other things related to the fishing/boating world that get you asking,"Who would pay for this useless piece of s&%t?"

I've had a couple friends say that of me.

I would have some other answers but I have had one thread locked already.

You are reffering to the BOO-YAH flipster. It is quite fun. I have played it at Bass Pro Shops a few times. While fun I will never spend $100 on something I can do in my back yard with a bucket!
