THANK YOU!!!!!!
I'm currently at 28 years and 10 months in the US Army and still serving. I plan to retire in August 2007 with an even 30...the same month my son is scheduled to be commissioned. My salute goes to the young men and women entering service today, knowing as they enter what a sacrifice they will be making over the next several years. Good post...
Sergeant Major Joe Shabbott, US Army

Served from Dec 1986 to July 1991. Damage Controlman. Stationed aboard CGC ALERT 210 footer out of Cape May N.J. and then the CGC Thetis 270 footer out of Key West, Fl. Hey Black Duck 1, the squids are just jealous because we could navigate shallow waters! My brother is retired Navy warrant and was stationed aboard the Shitty Kitty CV-63. My other brother was in the Army and the old man who just passed away was retired Master Sargent USAF.
Thanks guys for all you have done! God Bless The U.S.A.

I served 2 years as a Lieutenant in the Navy as a medical officer. One year with Desron 2 and one year at Little Creek dispensary. Years of service were 1966-1968.
I see admin served on the "Kitty Hawk". I helped build "Kitty Hawk" in 1958 in Camden, NJ. I helped install the main reduction gear and the high and low pressure turbines in engine room 2.
