Well, I just got an E-mail that says....after 2012 when you sell your house there is now a 3.8 percent tax on its sale price for the health care bill. Lf, that means you owe, $3800 when you sell your place, Im going to owe $114,000 dollars on just my primary residence. Now if they would just use it for education.

I've not see anything like that or heard of anything like that in the bill or as a consequence of the bill. And, I'd personally like to know of it if it's true, as your post suggests.

Can you sanitize it of your contact information and post it? I've very interested because of my own interests and because I've seen a ton of inflammatory e-mails that were just plain old propogand and incitement sent amoung my conservative friends and which amount to nothing but lies and rabble rousing.

Please post it. If it's ture I'll verify it and express outrage. If it's half true I'll point out the fudging. If it's absolutely false I'll say so.

It's actually a tax on the profit of the sale, not the entire sale price . Regardless, it's just another tax . Just call it a goverment vig

LF I posted the same thing about the house sale tax a couple months ago citing it among the other 13 tax code changes that came with the health care bill. It is there and it is credible info.

As for the title... Uneducated prefer GOP... after this most recent fiasco most everybody in every demographic prefers GOP...

It's actually a tax on the profit in excess of $500,000.

I know it sounds better to call it "another tax on hard working americans," but it's actually going to affect a tiny fraction of a percent of Americans. Ask yourselves who is turning a profit on the sale of real estate these days?

I just spoke to a friend of mine, cadillac rob.....he thought my post on here was a joke, and the pictures I made up. I assure you its real. So real, peter jensen has blocked it on google. It no longer comes up. So, I say this......I dont pay attention to anyone unless they are smarter than me, or living better, peter jensen is neither. I cant wait to vote Nov 2nd. I prefer the GOP, and Im uneducated.
