Turtles

The Vietnamese are catching all our turtles and making turtle soup out of them...something has to be done...my Science class cannot find a turtle withing 100 mile radius of Lowell Massachusetts....please help......they have all day to catch them while the rest of us are working...they are getting food stamps, welfare and unemployment...something is wong...Obama can you invite us for a beer to talk about it......

Bill, I suggest you make a bumper sticker and sell them here on SFC. I bet Wahooinbox could make a phone call and you'd have all the turtles you need

I get ya "save a horse ride a cowboy"....I'm actually not kidding about this...my kids can't even find a turtle..."they've" caught and eaten them all....

A few years ago the asians were devouring all the seaweed and kelp beds of various kinds along the California coast line and it was also endangering the Abalone populations. Calif. had to get tough on this and it took alot of work on behalf of the Dept of Fish and Wildlife to control it, and it still is a battle.

You may need to get ahold of your DFG and game wardens to save the turtles.

I'll try that, but there is absolutely none left to save....none....much like the commercial fishermen...if left alone they'll kill every last fish....

What kind of turtles are you talking about? I thought just about all sea turtles were protected.

BFB. I've looked all winter for turtles also, don't have time in the summer, I am too busy fishing. Can't find a one. I even live on a pond out in western Mass. Something has got to be done to protect these things, All of them. Snappers, box, and painted....

Last time I saw the Vietnamese catching them was last September. Must of taken them all.
