I've been looking at the eddy extensively (as with many others on here). All the Sat Shots show the unreadable edge along the sharp break (looks like cloud cover.) Do you think this is debris on the edge or is the jump so significant that the computer rendering can't recognize it? I'm fairly certain it's not a localized storm hanging over the two different temp waters.

The warmer water is creating cloud cover.
