whats so special about killing a baby bluefin tuna? The pops are going down because nobody respects the fishery. Its embarassing to have your picture taken with a 100 lb bluefin, this is no prize, lets all get our pictures taken with a Doe, i am sure the hunters wouldnt appreciate that. Everybody needs to quit killing these little bluefins, find something else to catch for a while, let em grow

I understand where you are coming from, however it's the giants that reproduce the most

I bet you talk that around Wanchese a lot don't ya.

There's a lot of good guys in Wanchese, and most of the guys are greenstick boats which is on no level the kind of damage to fish stocks that seiner's are.

There are more charter boats in Hatteras than greenstick by 20 times.

I am all about restrictions...believe me

the problem is in the seiners IMO

It is probably not as easy as just saying it is the seiners, but it is truly a shame that the nations that are in ICCAT have refused to acknowledge that there is a problem and begin to do something about it before it is too late.

Agreed Clt Capt....my point was just that you cannot stop commercial fishing obviously, and the problem is that many countries like France, Portugal, Spain, etc near the med. sea are not following the quota's.
