TRED BARTA! Real OR Fake?

i will try my hardest to make it to the event this upcoming july.

not sure how everything is going to work out for me, but i am DEFINATELY GOING TO try and make it for sure!

usually we end up either going back up north to jersey or vermont in july, but this year i will have my license , so i have been saving alot of money up for like a month long fishing trip to like florida or something like that.


but like i said, i will definately, without a doubt, try and make it!

I had the opportunity to meet Tred and his son Hunter about 3 years ago in Atlantic City at a dinner during the AC boat show. We sat at his table and thoroughly enjoyed meeting him and discussing canyon fishing. I hope to have Tred and his son aboard the Intruder one day for a canyon trip.

Well, I belive TRED and all the rest of us are very real.

TRED in his very early days comming up in the world of fishing probably sat and listened to many people on how they did things. He probably took info from other experienced Capts used it, or modified it or discarded the info but found ways to make the info work for him. Much the same as myself and I must say that I still do to this day. There is always new more productive ways to do things. If I know that there is a Capt that does something particularly well I'll talk to them and get there thoughts. I'll try it for myself make modifications if I need to and if its not working for me I can disreguard the info and move on to a different way until I find a way that works for me.

What you see today in TRED BARTA I belive is a man that has worked hard for years gathering and perfecting info and making it work. He is very very productive with his ways. You can't disagree with that. He's a very proud man and should be. You or I may not agree with everything but you must LISTEN to the man and think about it. Because there just might be something that will work for you in what he is saying.

YOU GO TRED!!! KEEP IT COMING.

This in my opinion is one of those opportunities that comes along once in a lifetime. What ever you may have planned, you should honestly commit to Capt Tred to be there and fish with him for that weekend, it is 1 weekend. 15 years from now you will look back and say I fished with Tred Barta, that will be an honor then as it is now. I wished I was 15 again, I would be all over that. As much as you love to fish, I promise you that weekend being a part of that tournament and especially being able to fish with the host will be something you will remember forever. It also is an opportunity for you to be a mentor to kids in Eastern NC, you seem like a great young man and this is a huge honor bestowed upon you. this is just my opinion but if I was in your shoes I would make plans now and commit to Capt Tred on that HUGE offer. Good luck and I wish you nothing but the best.

like i said, im DEFINATELY going to try my hardest. but if i have to go up north to visit my grandmother that i have not seen in a year and a half, im going to see my grandmother.

but im almost totally sure i can make it. but its a long ways away, so no need to stress on it now. if im in town at the time i can make it, i mean its only like 30 min from my house.
