Fished sat. August 15 th. Caught three keeper specks 21 22 &24. Also had two barely keeper reds. All were caught on black and chrome she pup. Had about 8 short fish too. All and all a pretty good day. Fished from sun up till about 11 A.M.
Sunday the 30 th was a little windy on my area so I could not get a top water bite no matter how hard I tried. Several fish came up but could not get them hooked up. Gave up on that and went to white Gulp shad. Caught 12 fish with only two keepers a 4 1/2 pound speck, and a 25" red. I know you guys want pictures but I normally just measure and release unless some one comes along that will take them. I' m fishing all the way down at the pass. I would like to know some other community holes closer to town if possible.
