On the radio this morning they made a joke about him. They said his band looked like a group of Walmart greeters!

His hair is pretty gay, but i love the guy's music.
I am a huge TP and the Heartbreakers fan, and have been since I was about 15.
Besides having the Ultimate Mullet, he and his band are one of the last true rock bands on the planet.
I thought the Halftime show rocked, unfourtunately they were just getting warmed up and it was over.
I was fourtunate enought to see them in 1987 (I was 17) with Dylan and the Dead at the Akron Rubber Bowl.
Show started about 2pm, Dylan did an electric set with Tom and the Heartbreakers as his back up band. It was really cool, they had no set list, Bob would just start playing and the band would join in. One time he got to the Chorus and the band had still not started. Bob stopped and said "guess you boys don't know that one" and started in on one they did know.
Then Dylan and Petty did an acoustic set of Dylan standards. Great, but not my favorite part.
The Tom and the Boys did their stuff with Dylan playin some of the Heartbreakers material.
Bout 9pm the Dead came on and played two sets till the wee hours of the morning with Dylan, Petty and various Heartbreakers from time to time.
One of the Best Shows I have ever seen.
