I didn't know who Tom Henry was until today, but from reading this I really get the feeling that I wish I had met him.

Which leads me to thinking that this thread is an incredible memorial to this gentleman and what an amazing gift it would be if somebody who knew the family was to gather these great stories and anecdotes, as well as any other ones they can find from people who knew him, type them up and print them out to present them to his family.

Most of us aren't going to cure cancer or bring about world peace in our lifetimes, so in the end our legacy comes down to the people who's lives we touch in small ways. A collection like this would be a testimonial of his life for all who miss him.

    Just a thought...
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

RIP my friend. I have known and respected you my whole career. Always a profesional at what you did. You will truly be missed. Give Scotty my regards and I trust you will have that place dialed in by the time I get there. I will be seeing you in the future.

He Looked me in the eye and said "It's not what ya do, its how ya look doin it."

    RIP Dock Partner.
    Jay,
That was great. Tom's trademark was a starched, pressed, monogrammed, buttoom up collared shirt and shorts. Every day right up to the day he died. Always the professional...always the gentleman and friend to the entire fishing community.

Tonights ceremony was nice... Overflow crowd gathered to say goodbye on a dune overlooking the ocean he so loved. Another step in closure of this chapter...
