today is the day for the new power to roar!!

work has been crazy, several things have delayed this moment, but it is here finally. it seems that after routing the return fuel ,lines and installing the new groco valves for the engine flush we will be firing up the new efi big block in the carolina classic. still a lot of clean-up left to do as well as polishing and waxing. but it appears she is very close to a sea trial. will make a post later ton ight on the power start-up situation and the results of it.

test trial on lake norman next week and then sea trial the weekend of the 13th of october.

well, ran into a few issues with the routing of the hoses to the heat exchanger, will have to get hoses tomorrow. just making the connection to the groco flush valve and the heat exchanger hose is all we need to get her running in the shop. Sea Draggin popped in today for a few hours and we worked on a new way to rig the outriggers, thanks for the help Jim it was greatly appreciated. as soon as it is sea trialed i will start the documentary detailing the processes of the conversion. boat is now equipped with 12" color display raymarine radar/chartplotter with bathymetrics and complete eastern chip. a lowrance color 337 gps/sounder is flush mounted in the dash,
boat will have two marine radios, ADF radio, and stereo with two Bose 151 speakers under the hardtop. am looking for an epirb and a raft as we speak.
