    Tips section- sticky gone?

All the talk about crab mustard got me to thinking about the tog tip that someone posted about their method for obtaining and using (real) crab mustard on the treble hook rig w/spring. I thought i had downloaded and saved it but I can find neither the thread nor where i might have saved the document. Anyone know or can help???? Thanx- craig

craig that is called a slocum rig. my dad likes to use it, but i have never seen him catch a fish with it hehe!! he is like some half ass mcgyver when it comes to fishing. I thought he was joking when he pulled it out last winter. you have to imagine this. this was just a couple days after he went striper fishing and my brother told me he put a green machine out!!! (didn't catch one either) but i did the research and saw some in the tackle shops. it is supposed to work. I'll have to see it to believe it!!!!

ps you just pull the mustard out, lay it on the trebbel. the spring is on the hook shank . when you put the mustard on, pinch up the spring. once you let the spring down spin it to tangle it up a little. I really don't have much faith though. seemes to me it would get washed out quick if not bitten.
