Cargo room is a little small for such a large truck, but it has not been a problem for me and my gear. The only "complaint" I have is that the interior is typical GM plastic, other than that and 50,000 miles later, no problems. Now with lagging sales on the H2, I'd guess you can get a deal for somewhat less than the full list I paid when they first came out.
look at the Acura MDX. three row seating, pretty good fuel economy(about 25 on the HWY) and the room of a SUV, not too mention it is a breeze to park as compared to full size trucks and manly SUV's. and you don't look like a girly man if you decide to borrow it.
we picked one up for the wife back in December. she absolutely loves it.
Don't fret, Marty, I'm in the "POOR SOLE" club too.....Originally Posted by WAHOONBOX

And I slept in it last Friday nite after fishin with Jim....along with all my coolers, rods, dirty nasty and soaked clothes, shoes, etc.....nothing fancy but gets the job done.
Mine had an "air freshener" in it the next morning too...... "EAU de la MAN SLEEPING IN CLOSED QUARTERS"![]()
My other "GEM" of a vehicle is a '95 Z24 with 140k miles also on it LOL. Paid $5000 for it 5 or so years ago.
Our "fancy" car is a 2000 Grand Prix GT (wife's car"). Probably the newest car I've ever owned LOL.
I can't afford the high car payments, insurance, and property tax every year, LOL. Rather spend that money on other things.
"Point A to Point B" is what my bro-in-law says all the time!![]()
BTW, when I got my license at 16, I was blessed to be driving my father's 1976 Ford E250 3-on-the-tree metallic puke green van, which we bought off the company he worked for for $400 when they were upgrading their fleet trucks. No frills, no seats, no carpet, LOL, wanna talk bare bones????![]()
But let me tell you the times we had in that truck during high school/college!!!! (Ummm....no, better not.....)

You see I want something that takes me back to my younger days but SWMBignored is putting her foot down. When we were newlyweds and I was delivering snakes and other reptiles all over the eastern seaboard I had my favorite vehicle of all time. The Chicano mobile(my close friends called her the mothership) was styling. I'm talking pure boarder hopping here. I had a 1984 chevy (thats pronounced CHE-vy) conversion van with laydown queensize berth. 4 (FOUR) captains chairs, plush carpeting and interior blue track lighting on fake-me-out mahogony paneling. We're talking PHAT. Just cruising up and down 95 with Carlos blaring on the quadrophonic - OYE' COMO VA! and don't get me started on the FUNKADELICS - NOW WE WANT THE FUNK - GOTTA HAVE THE FUNK. Damn - the wife is at an all day horse lesson today. wonder if I can sneak up to the chevy dealer and get one before she gets home.![]()
Yea, That Jesse is one lucky (or spoiled) kid. I drive a '99 Jeep Cherokee with 193K on her. My 16 year old son THINKS he's getting a new truck from me. Don't hold your breath son, blues not your color.
