Jawz- WOT is 5500 to 5600 rpms.

Its not a powerhouse-After my servicing, My fuel mileage went from 1mpg to approx 1.5 mpg on a GOOD day- add rough or pushing seas and your back down to 1mpg or less.

I can pretty much figure that if I traveled 100 miles roundtrip- I'll be putting in 100 gallons at least.

However, my guy has/has had no problem finding parts for me, and 32 years on this power....can't be THAT bad of a setup now can it? I'd take it to the canyon again tomorrow

There's a LOT of these Fords around, more than people realize
