Ok, now Fred & Ted have me worried a bit...hotshot1 can you chime in and let me know if I'm doing the right thing with Canidae? I checked, re-checked the ingredients, and talked to the military vet and thought I was on the right path. I'm not trying to cut corners on the cost, I'm looking for the BEST food I can give my lil buddy!! HELP!!
Nope...your all wrong...Daddy put his foot down and the chic's, ducks, and rabbits are still laying under those heating lamps...for now.[/QUOTE]
Your the man, I could never seem to hold the high ground when my daughter started batting here eyes and pouting.

My comment wasn't about Pro Plan being any better than Canidae - It was about the importance of high quality food.
If your vet is good with it, I would think you are in good shape, but I am not a vet, Didn't play one on TV and didn't stay at Holiday Inn last night... So what do I know... My previous lab ate Pedigree for 14 years and seemed to do fairly well...We are just being a bit more careful now...
I almost broke a couple times...but it would be difficult with my current living arrangments, small sub-division lot. Fortunatly for me, my girls are very understanding over the whole situation. I'm getting ready to build another house with more property and then we can discuss additional animals, or as Fred said..."Hooper training aides"
No problems Fred...I openly request/accept advice from you, Ted, and anyone else with regards to Hooper. He's become a big part of our lives now and I only want the best for him regardless...so, keep the suggestions coming and thanks!
