Are their Coyotes on the Jersey Shore?

During the MA500 I won a $1500 gift certificate to Bernie Robbins Jewelers. The closest one to me is in Somers Point NJ, So my wife and I went up their yesterday. Damn gift certificate ended up costing me more then the tournament. Anyway, on the way back, on the parkway between Somers Point and Avalon exit we almost hit a Coyote. I am 99% sure it was a Coyote but don't know if you guys have them. Any clue?

By the way, stopped by and saw Chuck and mary at Hinch's. Man, they are two of nicest people on earth.

    Ark,
I see them almost every time I drive the parkway at night. There's a lot of them around down there!

I've seen a couple down that way and one even in my old home town up on the north shore... You say you almost hit him? You need to lead em a little better...

I live on the island of Cape May and we've got a good number of them here. It was in the press a lot last year because a few of our neighbors started losing pets. The tree huggers stepped in with screwball plans, and some of the "alarmed" residents crowded town hall meetings on how to stay safe. Some of the same morons who moved here "to be close to nature" demanded something be done to get rid of them.

Thankfully that buzz has died down and we still seem to have a good population of them here. You can hear them most any night.
