Thanksgiving Day Brew???
The wife and I are having our first Thanksgiving dinner at our house tomorrow and I was wondering what beer people liked? I am a Miller Lite myself, but thought maybe I should get a case or two of something different (i.e. Sam Adams). Any ideas for some good beer on Thanksgiving day??
Dont worry about the hard stuff or wine, I already have all that covered.

I really like Sam Adams, but a lot of poeple like lighter stuff. One thing you could try is a Saranac Sampler. Everyone seems to like Saranac and the samplers are IPA's and lagers for the most part. That way your not stuck with a bunch of beer after the party and there is a real good mix that everyone should be able to find something they like out of. Sam Adams also does a sampler, but I don't think its as good.

Any kind except Budwiser ( can't stand the stuff.) My choice would be Killian's Irish Red or Yeugling lager.

Non-alcoholic beer just in case there are some non drinkers! I'm not one of them but there may be some out there!

Here are some of my personal favorites, some of which I linked to on the Beverages & More Website:
Fat Tire - Introduced to me by a friend from Colorado.
Downtown Brown - One of my favorites for quite some time.
Pyramid Apricot Ale - Don't laugh at this one! Some seriously good brew. On the brink of being a 'chick drink' but not quite. Every guy or girl that I have given this beer to has loved it!
Amstel Light - Always in season and refreshing, a staple in my fridge.
Chimay Ales - Excellent beer from Belgium. Can't go wrong with any of them.
Black & Tan - A good winter combination of Guiness & Bass.
Coors Light/MGD/Bud Light - C Minus, MGD and Bud Light are always in season! I have no problem downing these beers when the mood strikes!
Time for me to go fishing!
Happy Turkey Day guys!

Thanks for the response!!
Melton-Jason... I ski every year in CO and LOVE the Fat Tire. They do not sell it east of the Mississippi River, so we east costers are screwed. Good stuff though, the thought of it makes me want to be in CO!! I am off to the store now and am armed with some great ideas, thanks to all....
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!!
